"Overkill" contains cases from Colorado, Arizona and Utah. I have been actively reading the "Notorious USA" series over the past couple of weeks. While the crimes in this book were more familiar to me such as Jodi Arias and "Little Boy Blue" - there were still some that I have never heard of and would be interested in reading more about. I was able to add a couple books to my book list to read which I found enjoyable.

This book had countless errors, and I made tons of suggestions/corrections while reading on my Kindle. This is extremely irritating and frustrating to me as a reader. I did find at times that the stories of these horrific crimes were sometimes hard to follow and felt some exerts were out of place. It was hard to tell as a reader if this was done intentional or by mistake as there were so many errors in the writing. Let it be known that whoever proofread this book did not do a good job.

If this were my first book to read by Gregg Olsen - I don't know if I as a reader would want to pick up another as there were so many errors it made the book less enjoyable. If you are an active true crime junkie and have read some of Gregg's books before then this may be the book for you as this is not Gregg's normal writing style.

3/5 Stars: Due to all the errors and the inconsistencies it may this book hard to read and comprehend without having to re-read certain pages multiple times. This book had tons of potential and if revised and corrected it could easily be a 5/5 star book in my opinion.
