NOW THIS IS HOW A THRILLER SHOULD BE WRITTEN! Had me on the edge of my seat, I finished it in five fucking days.

What made me feel this was a good developed thriller? Honestly, I don't fucking know. All I know is that the reading experiencing was tense. That's all I can recall about it. What made it so good was the unpredictability of the events. I was questioning everything and everyone and when the chapters came in I would think: Here we go again, making it to obvious I would get bored from this point forward, for my mind to be irritated with the question: then what is next? Been confused and lost about every single character was a good, GOOD, thing, because I didn't knew where the book was heading. Kimberly Belle really just hooked me up from the beginning, with all tension about the main characters been rich, the husband been famous, been stalked, like, I could not have a break like the characters in the book. I don't know if I missed obvious details, but I got sucked into the tension of the situation in the book, like, I didn't care about the mask, all I wanted to know was the why, the where, the who, and the what.

I expected the norm of it was the husband's idea or the wife's scheme, there was something beyond that, and that plot was just perfect.

Honestly (and finally) a unique thriller and I'm just going to stay quiet about because the issue here was just perfect.

This book was definitely a good quick thriller. Although I didn't LOVE LOVE it, there were some good things about it.

What I liked: I loved the characters in this book. Cam was a great husband and father, despite his many flaws. Jade was a kick ass mom who packed a punch when it came down to protecting her kids. Beatrix was a little firecracker and very protective and smart, and Baxter was just so cute and innocent, even in danger. Even Sebastian (who was holding them hostage), who was a good Dad behind the mask who just wanted to help his daughter. The chapters were quick which is always great, and they were alternating POV between Jade, Cam and Sebastian. I also loved she added the Interview with Cam post invasion. I loved the overall message of the book too... how far would you go to save the ones you love??

What I didn't like: the ending left me sooo frustrated. I wanted to know more. The whole book was super quick and like edgy, and then the end just felt cut off... like there should have been more !! I want more !!! What happened after the home invasion? what happened to both families ? are they still together? what happened to Cam's restaurants... I just wish there was a LITTLE more to end the story.

Overall, a quick thriller. Good story, just wanted more at the end. This book would be perfect for readers who don't like all the intense, gory thrillers... easy domestic thriller.

Thank you to Netgalley, Kimberly Belle and Park Row for an ARC in exchange for this review.
