An astonishing children’s book. The story inhabits an alternate London where slavery exists at the heart of the British Empire. Adam discovers an amazing Tyger believed to be extinct on a rubbish dump and his world changes. It is a story that draws on the poetry of Blake, on questions about ownership, freedom of thought and beliefs, good and evil and the creative spark of possibility in human hearts.  Just wow!
