Awesome book! I love that this time it's David's point of view and it's more action versus being creepy like the first book in the series. I love how the characters developed and also how slow the timeline moved. Two books in and the Kings have only been in Pinedale a little over a week! But, it's not too much detail. It's suspenseful.

At the same time, so many unanswered questions! And also, I keep thinking that Toria is about five instead of nine... I wish the author had made her ACT older.

Can't wait to start the next book!

Ok, so I'm a little frustrated with this series. I'm interested in the story, but I just don't feel like it's very gripping. Like I'm interested enough to buy the next book & read it, but I'm annoyed that I'm still not wrapped up in the story.

For one thing, I think that book 1 & 2 should have been edited & compiled into one book. Things moved way too slow in the first book & the second. I think I would have felt that gripping momentum I'm looking for if they would've been combined & all the major action that happened in the second book was in the first.

The story & concept is really cool & I'm into it. But something just seems missing. The only reason why I'm reading the next one is because I wanna know what happens. But unless the third book is awesome, I may not continue the series. I think there are something like 6 books in it? Hopefully I won't feel like I could've read the series in a trilogy instead of 6 books.

This book was harder to put down than the first book. I forgot how much I liked this one from the first book.

This one picked up where the first one left off and takes off on an amazing adventure.

There were more twists and turns for this family and they meet a not so nice person that seems to want to take the house from them at first nicely then when they wont leave he becomes more sneaky.

I really had a lot of fun during this because you get to meet some really cool characters in this book and you learn more about the house that the Kings live in. And the house gets weirder that when we first see the Kings move in.

There are some characters that I really did not like in this book and some that keeps you wondering what are they going to do to the King family that we are following. Are they going to be kicked out under false accusations of one man who just want to get the house for his sinister plots. It gets a little crazy when we learn more about him.

This was a really entertaining book and i forgot how many things happened within this book and it is a fun read and I really enjoyed this book a lot.

muy buena esta segunda saga, pasan cosas muy interesante y con un final que te dan ganas de leer el siguiente. Pero algunos misterios siguen sin resolverse y eso hace esta saga mas interesante de leer.

I want to like this series, but I'm having a hard time of it. Maybe it's the amount of time covered in a book (between two and three days)? I want to know what the larger picture is, so I may keep reading. I'm not sure.

I had to drag myself through this book. The story had it's moments, but I grew tired of Xander's whining, the bad guy's despicableness, the deadly Magic School Bus vibe--just all of it. I won't be finishing this series, and I don't feel like I'll be missing anything.

Again this book was pretty good, though they really didn't get much done and the book itself takes place over maybe 2 days, and technically the first book only took place over a couple days too. The book events move along pretty quick. I am eager to find out how everything comes together and finishes in the final book.
