Full of wonderful characters that you want more of, and in different groupings wherever possible. This was a fun one to read aloud to the spouse; my Rig and Barryman voices were on point. Even when the characters make questionable choices, you're still rooting for their lifelong efforts, not simply criticizing those flawed moments. And can I just say I have so many questions about John Grisham that I don't want answered? My only "complaint" is that I want sure what this book was about based on the synopsis. It's a little blue-collar general, though the novel is not. I also wasn't sure if this would be a novel or short story collection with that synopsis. Read the description on the publisher's page to get a better idea.
