Holy crap!
I'm at a loss for words to describe how I felt after reading this. It's like watching a David Lynch movie, only, Blow Up the Outside World is way weirder and more unsettling. It's the kind of nightmare that leave you paralyzed with fear and unable to speak. Most especially, it is one of the most innovative, spooky and thrilling alien invasion stories ever written. The characters (Potter, Oswald and Sarah) undergo different sorts of experiments, and end up being mere pawns in the game of the Valdrotts, a villainous and monstrous looking race of aliens.
The amazingly bizarre Moonshine story and the surprising piece about Robert Smith, called The Nudes Lift Shields For Galaxy Wars (both by Jordan Krall) are the other highlights of the book.
