This was quite nice. The evolution of sad and devastating and happy and hopeful was very nice to read, but the transition phase was a bit weird. Also the construction of the end of the book was odd. But overall I really liked it!!

If we're just being honest, I feel empty at the end of this book. I feel drained of so much, and just left with a lot of sadness. I want to cry.
I've lost three of the most important people in my life, and still not even that was what caused this reaction. I'm not sure what it was...an amalgamation of things really?
Silvera is an incredible writer, but be warned when you pick up this book that there is nothing light about it.
I wasn't a fan of any of the plot twists and outcomes, because I really just wanted to grieve the person, maybe see more of Jackson. The Wade twist made me feel very not good.
I just, my heart hurts. I'm not okay after reading this.

oh my gosh! i was not expecting any of that to happen. this was my first adam silvera book and i'm hooked! i loved it, so so so much!

i love the lgbt relationships and how it's not a big deal to the families and it's supported completely. i love griffin's parents and how he talks about how in love they are, i think that's so sweet and parent goals amiright? i love the friendships in this story, especially wades friendship with griffin! i love how silvera wrote griffin's compulsions, and how people reacted to them: theo, jackson, wade, his parents.

this was such a phenomenal read, i didn't think i would like it from the start with flipping from today to history but i actually really enjoyed that! i loved finding out pieces to the puzzle through griffin's history. i can't wait to read another silvera book!
