Lovable and strong main character, the other main characters are irritating but complex. Fast pace, so fast in fact that you can't really feel the rising action, I couldn't feel a sense of urgency or danger and some side characters felt unnecesary. Missed oportunities with such complex characters and was not a fan of Asa's writting style. But the story is misterious and has a unique charm to it, also turns dark and really intense. Overall, enjoyed it a lot. My favorite part by far were the flashbacks, I found them very thought-provoking and insightful.

The twist was good, and really well hinted. The ending was.... a choice. I never cared for Ana-Mella's pregnancy so when I found out her giving birth to his son was the official ending I was confused, is it hinting that Thomas will try to kidnap him? what was the purpose? Is it a set-up for a sequel? Also, Sanna got away with everything, even her parents! That was so infuriating, hope in a later book Sanna's kids get adopted, then her mom leaves her dad but both of them go to jail or smth...
