This was one of 3 books I read for my class on WWII, and I enjoyed it so much more than I thought! The articles really showcase the breadth of academic writing, while still being devoted to a professional and informative tone. The different aspects of a total global war were also very eye opening, especially the article on sex and sexuality throughout the war and in different warring societies!
