JUDEEEE!! THE HIGH QUEEN OF FAERIE! I love you jude so so much. You are so strong, so powerful, so perfect. You do exactly what needs to be done and show EVERYONE that you are the person that can do it. I couldn’t choose a better high queen at all. You can fight, you can outwit, and you can love above all. Yours and Cardan’s relationship is the cutest thing ever and shows the depth of both of you. CARDAN MY HIGH KING. I LOVE YOU SO SO MUCH. the love you have for Jude is astounding and I love to have been able to witness it. The care you show for her is beautiful and it’s able to be seen through differing LIFE FORMS. The best High King and Queen of Elfhame to ever exist are the two of you. Taryn, you consistently fuvked up throughout the first two books but in this one you were great! An amazing sister to Jude which is what she needed in this book. Vivi my queen as always puttin in the work and doing what needs to be done, #OlderSiblingCore. OAK MY LOVE. will forever be my favorite. the cutest ever. Bomb and Roach you guys are the true OGs and Jude would have been so lost without you two. Beautiful story development and amazing character arcs.

I don’t like Jude. I really don’t like her. But I really liked Cardan, and I feel like this book didn’t have enough Cardan. Hes a much more interesting character than “man who murdered my parents raised me and now I’m definitely a killer who doesn’t trust anyone ever”. I feel with Jude I’m told she’s clever but she’s really not? Like come on now. Any way it was pretty okay I would say it was a 3.5 star if anything for the over all series but this one especially because of the lack of Cardan in it. Also very short books? Like we could have taken more time to flush out his character right?

I'm not okay.

I will never be the same after this series.

this book was so good. This entire series was so good.

when I bought the entire trilogy at once, I was a little scared because, what if I didn't like it. but OMG I'm so glad I bought it all at once. I'm completely in love with it.

I now have a bunch of books by Holly Black on my tbr because I just loved her writing style and this trilogy was my first time reading her books.

I'm completely obsessed with Jude and Cardan's relationship, I NEED TO READ MORE OF THEM. alsooo, I need those letters. I know the Barnes and Noble edition has them, but I'm from Europe so I have no idea how I'm gonna get those editions, but I will somehow. in the meantime I subscribed to something on Holly Black's website and those letters will be on my email BUT I NEED PHYSICAL ONES.

anyways, I digress. I just loved all the books and I think this one might be my favourite out of the trilogy, it was such a good ending. all I wish for now is to read more on Cardan and Jude because I wish we had more scenes with them at the end.

I can't wait to read more from Holly Black.

also, Cardan >>>>>>
