HOLY SHIT that was an emotional rollercoaster. It's a little hard to believe I'm finished reading this series.

WAIT I JUST FOUND OUT THAT HOLLY BLACK HAS MADE A SPIN-OFF SERIES THAT'S RELEASING NEXT JANUARY (JAN. 2023)?! Definitely reading that!

i read this entire series in about a week because i couldnt put it down and this one, while probably being my least favorite out of the three, was still fantastic. ending was less satisfying than i hoped, but overall a great read

8/10. I liked this book the best out of the trilogy. It had the most romance, Jude finally had people she could trust and lean on, and the trajectory of the plot also made sense. Additionally, I will say that there were a few times that I was genuinely surprised which does not happen very often to me. I don't wholly love the romance between Jude and Cardan but I like it well enough. This isn't a stand-out series to me and I don't know if I will read it again considering I did not like the first book very much but I like it well enough to keep the books on my shelf.

i’m so in love with this book i want to cry. i did get mad that they battle part was so short but then apparently Cardan was a snake for less than 72hrs so it makes sense i guess. Anyways i love the characters, i love holly black and i just wish that woman wrote more adult content cause i KNOW her spice scenes would me god tier.
