jaz te juro que intenté
por ahí 2.5⭐️

pros:
- entretenido
- buena representación de alguien con TEA
- sex-positive
- buen mensaje sobre diversidad
- realista con lenguaje de adolescentes

cons:
- todo se sintió MUY forzado
- la pelea contra los estereotipos terminó estereotipando a todxs
- lit los dos personajes principales son los únicos con más de un personality trait
- perdón pero me hizo cringe mucho
- “romantic relationship fixes literally everything wrong in my life” trope

Some parts felt a little half baked, but it overall was a very touching and relatable story of the young queer experience, imperfect as it usually is. I loved the neurodiversity too, though I wish we had more of an arc with Abbie’s. A lot of parts felt rushed, or cut off, and I think that’s why I rated it down.

EXCELLENT and really nails the queer experience. had a surprising amount of insight into polyamorous relationships and biphobia as well

the beginning and end were too slow for me. i enjoyed the middle mostly. personally i don’t enjoy sex scenes in young adult novels, but if that’s your thing go for it. i honestly didn’t like abbie… the constant mention of the fact that a lot of lesbians are biphobic was exhausting. and why did the issue of abbie’s college not get solved until the very end? i liked some of the side characters though. i also liked the mentions of my chemical romance, tegan and sara, and taylor swift.
rep: bi mc, lesbian mc, autistic mc, adhd mc, jewish characters

Solid, fast read! Enjoyed the characters, no one's behavior annoyed me too much at any point. Read it cover to cover in the airplane.
