I love this book. I was so apprehensive about reading it because my expectations were astronomical and yet somehow it managed to meet all of them.

It’s cute and wholesome and I love Adam and Zayneb.

i really liked this book it just didn’t end up as one of my favorite things ever. I thought the character development and the way the story progressed was great but there was something about it that i just didn’t get too hooked in and i just wasn’t as invested as i expected to be

4,25/5. This was a really great book. Its a bit heavy sometimes, so I don't think everyone will like it. But i do think everyone should read it. Its not your average shallow romance book (not that, that's anything bad), you just need to be ready to digest the hard parts to enjoy the good parts about the book. Sort of fitting to the concept of "marvels and oddities". As a Turkish person born to Muslim family living abroad most of our lives in non-Muslim countries, I resonated with a lot of the things in this book, good and bad. Of course my experiences where not the same as Zayneb, as a non-hijabi, but I felt for her. I got angry with her. Being born and from Istanbul, I was so happy seeing it being mentioned positively for once in a book, although the whole negative Turkish rep didn't thrill me, ngl. I appreciated the author putting a positive reflection of Turkey in there as well at the end, to make up for the whole other thing.... The love story was pure, i really liked Adam and Zayneb together. Made me wish for a love and relationship like theirs...

Love from A to Z by S.K. Ali
It’s a love story but it is more than a romance. It’s a story about friendship and fighting for injustices and I loved it! .
.
I am not into reading YA romances as much as I was in my early twenties but with Zayneb being 18 and Adam being 19/20 I felt like it was less cliché and more realistic. Both characters are Muslim and I love how the author portrayed their faith and put it at the forefront of their relationship. .
.
I related so much to Zayneb! She is a fighter and is striving to stand up against cultural appropriation and the Islamophobia she encounters within her White American community and the entitled Doha community. She is always speaking out against injustices and those around her are sometimes trying to silence her. I feel that in my own life sometimes so I was happy to see that she stuck to herself and used her anger in a constructive way! .
.
I love that both characters were bi/multiracial, I feel like so many can see themselves represented in this book and it is definitely something I want to buy for my future biracial (white/Pakistani) children. .
.
Adam deals with the grief of his mother’s passing and his own life altering diagnosis, turning to his faith and friendship with Zayneb for comfort and guidance. .
.
This book was wholesome, adorable and made me feel so happy! If you are looking for something with love but not a romantic plot than I definitely recommend this one

4.5/5 ish

I’ll have to reread this in the very near future to write a proper review maybe than it’ll even turn to a full 5 stars

Zaynebs resiliance and strength is beautiful I love her so much i can’t even put it into words

Adam my sweet precious Adam your essence must be light itself love you to bits

The themes evoked in this novel hurt but also made me feel seen in a way that I have hardly ever felt in a story before

Yah this review is turning into a soup opera and me into an old Khalti gushing over my children
