Історія мені, на диво, сподобалася. Неочікувала цього від класичного твору. Я б не сказала, що головна тема книги про кохання між персонажами. Скоріше це про їхній розвиток і про те як почуття підштовхували їх до змін у собі. Мене забавляє легкий , але дотепний гумор в діалогах Ліззі та її батька. Трохи дратувала мати сімейства. 
   Книга в прочитані мені була нудною, але від цього відчуття в мене залишилися позитивні
