A second standalone in a series about 3 sisters of the Fleur cosmetic dynasty.
Rose is the youngest sister and meets Caden at a party. Caden is a thief by necessity and is planning to steal a necklace Rose was given by her grandmother. Caden and Rose have immediate sparks and their story is hot.

Stealing Rose is the second book in the Fowler Sisters series, but it can easily be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.
One thing that I absolutely loved about this book, was the fact that the main characters in the previous book of the series (Owning Violet) we're major players throughout the book. While most books of series usually have characters reappear in the next book, this series is about a specific family so we are not only allowed to see what happened next in previous characters lives and get to see them throughout the whole book. I was a huge fan of Violet and Ryder so I was thrilled to continue on with them through Rose and Caden's story. And since this series is about a family, you're continuing to build onto the story behind their grandmother, father, and sister Lily.
While the relationship between Rose and Caden was much different than the relationship in the previous book, it was written just as well. I loved the the balance of the romance between Rose and Caden inside and outside of the bedroom. While this book has some very steamy scenes, it also has some great scenes outside of the bedroom as well; giving the book a wonderful balance. I also loved the way that Murphy wrote in some unexpected circumstances, which really brought this book to a higher level (you'll have to read it to see what I'm talking about, I won't spoil the fun).
Just as the previous book in the series, Stealing Rose was well written with fabulous characters that were both believable and relatable. Everything in the book flowed smoothly and I found he book hard to set down. I can't wait to continue on with the next book in the series!
*I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions*

The second of the Fowler sisters books was a solid read. I haven't read the first book but this can be read as a standalone. Rose is the leading sister in this story and she's the quiet, worker bee. Not recognised for her input into the Fleur company. Rose however, is a flower ready to bloom and it begins at Cannes where she meets a stranger who intervenes when a man gets too handy with her. Rose offers herself to him but he leaves her high and dry and ignorant of his identity.
Rose initially seems the indulged, privledged daughter but it becomes apparent she has depth and this makes for an interesting read. Caden is a character that is difficult to respect at first. He's charming but mercenary in getting what he wants in business. I look forward to book three.

Stealing Rose is the second book in following the Fowler sisters. Even though this is a series you can read this book without reading the first book. You have some spoilers but they are what I would assume to be the obvious ones.
Rose is the youngest sister and is struggling with wanting to quit the family business. While she is avoiding her father she stays in London with her middle sister and this is where she finds Caden. They had a pretty steamy meeting in Canes before this, but Caden had an ulterior motive for meeting Rose, her family's poppy necklace that she happened to be wearing to the party in Canes. The story is told in alternating perspectives between Rose and Caden. I really enjoyed this style, it allows to you see where each person was at throughout the story. There weren't many surprises with the story but it was still very enjoyable. This was the first book of the series that I read but I think I will go back and read the other 2 books.
I received an ARC via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

For whatever reason I just could not get into this book. I attempted to read it twice before giving up about a third of the way through. I could not connect enough with the story to be at all engaged by it.

This is the second book in the "Fowler Sisters" trilogy and focuses on the youngest sister, Rose. Rose is going through a bout of feeling lost and unsure of herself. Since college graduation, she's been working her tail off at the family business, Fleur Cosmetics, and feels like all her efforts have gone unnoticed. This is especially true since her father's skanky girlfriend is in line to get a promotion that should go to Rose. On top of that, Rose is feeling overshadowed by her sisters. Violet is extremely capable and will most likely run Fleur someday while Lily is irresponsible and always grabbing headlines with her party-girl shenanigans. Feeling the need to mix things up, Rose decides to throw caution to the wind and engage in some fun with a sexy stranger she meets at a premiere in Cannes.
Caden initially has ulterior motives concerning Rose, but when they unexpectedly run into each other again in London, he finds himself drawn to her. They engage in a hot and heavy affair while keeping personal details to a minimum. Caden has secrets of his own and fears that if he's honest with Rose, she'll never want to speak to him again. What Caden doesn't realize is that Rose may be going through a phase of uncertainty, but she has absolutely no doubts when it comes to him.
I absolutely love this series because it's the perfect blend of intriguing storylines, engaging characters and steamy romance. Violet and Ryder (from the first book) made a few appearances and I'm anxious to read the next book to find out more about Lily. This is definitely a must-read for any contemporary romance fan!
