I could go to this hell. Not saying I would enjoy it but if I gotta go…
The short story starts in humor and ends with existential, most likely mind destroying, eternal, hopeful searching. 
It is a short brilliant depiction of a hell and the humanity that occupies it. I love that the author shows restraint. For this could have turned into some epic fantasy novel with heroes, critters, and a magic system the protagonist struggles to grasp but learns along the journey about overcoming life with mighty magic they slowly excel in. Nope, this is simple. Through the simplicity a hell.
