The book is nothing like I've read before. This was my first Murakami book and I think I chose a good one. I really liked some chapters specially the one with the boxer guy. Murakami makes a lot of critics that are intertwined with this surreal world that he builds. I didn't understand a few chapter but it's something that can be fixed by reading more times. His writing is very well constructed and he goes deep into humans emotion - even the most cruel. He displayed well how good and how bad we can be and he even manage to show various references to different time periods and events in history. This makes me excited to see what else he got.
Moderate: Infidelity and Violence
Minor: Animal cruelty, Bullying, Suicide, and War
