I wasn’t sure at first that this was 5 stars for me, as usually my 5 star reads are more exciting and fast paced. This book was definitely slower, but it was beautifully written and I can’t stop thinking about the characters a few days later. Waiting for my paper back of the 2nd book to be released and then I can’t wait to get right back into this world!

Fantasy isn’t typically my preferred genre, but when I saw it on BOTM, I wanted to give it a go and I’m glad k did. It was really long, but very good. I’m sure there will be a sequel and I will read that as well.
