I feel bad giving this such a low rating, because I actually think it's a decent book. It's just not my thing. I was sent a copy of Natural Born Keller from Allen & Unwin from review, and I quite enjoyed the first half of it. I'm generally not a fan of celebrity memoirs (the exceptions being those by comedians or artists), so what was most interesting for me as an Australian was reading about the Australian television industry back in the day. By the time it got into more contemporary events, I lost interest.

I'm not really a fan of Amanda Keller, but I also don't have anything against her... I just don't really watch free-to-air tv or listen to the radio, so my exposure to her has been limited. That being said, even the parts of this memoir that weren't that interesting to me, really endeared her to me. She has a funny, charming style of writing that I think a lot of people would really enjoy.

If you like Amanda Keller, and enjoy celebrity memoirs, this is your kind of book.
