This was a great book. We finally get a real look at our men in action. We had a little in Protecting Fiona, but this concentrated on the men and how they work together and with other teams. It also gave each couple a wonderful reunion scene, showing their strength as a couple. Loved it. Thanks.

What a fitting end to a fantastic series

Although, I'm sorry that the SEAL of Protection series has to end, this final book was the best I think of the series. We get to see how everyone is doing and whether they have children or not. Even Commander Hurt, Julie , Tex and Melody are included.

The team is called out on a mission that each one of the guys are feeling some misgivings about. However, the one person who surprised me was little Akilah, and her ability to read lips. The way she amused the children and protected them was very tender and loving.

But it will be the "package" the team is sent to retrieve that will take your heart and soul because you'll fall in love with her. Tears will fall, in the end but everyone survives and a new Delta Team of hot men will be born to read about and of course fall in love with. My question is this how patient can we all be for Rescuing Rayne after that two chapter teaser at the end will make you want the new book out now not in February.

Thank you Susan Stoker for building a family with each of the SEAL of Protection men and the women they fall in love with.

Tiger, who later get's her own book, is rescued by the SEAL team but this book is not about her. This book is about family! Of course, Julie's crazy butt is back...she's from Fi Fi's book Protecting Fiona. I'm saddened that this series is complete; however, am so excited to read the the Delta Force series featuring my other love Ghost.

⏱A Quick Summary

*The team is called to help a solider taken hostage while deployed. We catch up with the team before they go on the mission. Learning about all the children they’ve had and the friendships that have developed over the years.
*The mission doesn’t go as planned and the several of the team are injured. A Delta Team is called up to help them get home safety.

My Take on the Book :
This book is the wrap up novel for the SEAL of protection series, but it is also a connection book for two of her other series. Action packed and a way to wrap up the characters’ stories and intrigue you about new characters.

I have to give it a 5 star despite MANY MANY parts being emotionally difficult for me to read, a few paragraphs skipped totally. It was just that good of a book, despite all that (which only affects me personally). Really wonderful way to wrap it all up. Great story and as always great characters. Just great.

Just filling in some gaps in this author's series and I found that I hadn't read this one. I procrastinated at the start as it sounded ominous. Would the author kill off some characters as we come to the end of the series?
I shed tears during this read, are they happy or sad...read it and find out for yourself.
All the guys are in dangerous territory to secretly rescue a female soldier. ISIS have had her for months, is her time running out? The mission wasn't smooth sailing at all, injuries and enemies everywhere, my heart was pounding.
All these guys, their loves and children badly need a HEA and you'll be reading with your heart in your throat wondering if they will get it.
