I’m so happy that Everett finally got his mate. Although his and Jennings mating didn’t get off to the best start I’m glad they finally got it all worked out. I loved Everett and glad everyone finally saw him for the great man he is. I love the enforcers series and can’t wait to some more of the amazing characters get their mates.

I really like Everett and Jennings as a mated couple. I hadn't expected them to actually struggle in the beginning, but things can't always go smoothly every single time. Now for the next book.

Everett and Jennings are fated mates but that doesn’t mean that they are without their struggles on the way to their HEA. They need alone time to strengthen their bond but it’s just not happening. Steamy moments are not a problem but the deeper bond connection is lacking a bit.
Everett is working on changing his past behaviour and Jennings is going back and forth re his teaching commitments and family togetherness but communication and the longed for alone time bring them as close together as fated mates should be.
The overall story arc continues which keeps things interesting and so many couples are adding to their families. This is another enjoyable and easy read in the series but it shouldn’t be read as a standalone.
