Well.... another pretty book finished

I liked the theme here... nothing is as it appears and hardly as it seems to be... the goose chase around the killer seemed alittle rushed in the end... but it's quite understandable considering you have someone with his brain all loosened up...

I have a nasty feeling the whole Thomas arch is having alot of untold parts on his and her mom's side... his change of feeling is giving me the creeps

Also, I am wondring why we haven't crossed path with Carlos so far...

The only only point I keep going back to with the 1st and this book... does she always have to end up with some sort of an injury.

Other than this amazing book... Good Cozy mystery

More of the wonderful characters in a town I’m growing to love. Love all the recipes at the end. The killer reveal still felt a little fast, but much better than the first book!

Great cozy mystery. Nancy Drew meets Gilmore Girls meets the Great British Bake-off.

I really didn’t think I would enjoy this book because the focus was a reality tv cooking show. Instead I was pleasantly surprised. The first book was good. The second book was enjoyable. Now I’m onto the third book!

I don’t know when it happened, but this series has slowly become my new comfort series :)

After reading books 12, 13, 14 and 16 (yes, I skipped 15 I need to go back) in the series, I decided to hop to the very beginning (well,,, book 2 in the series) — and wow! All of my wonderful bakeshop friends,,, they are all BABIES! I just wanted to shake all the characters and say “JUST GIVE IT A FEW BOOKS, EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY”.

I think the biggest shock was when JULES suspected LANCE?!?! Sis, that’s your bestie, come now come now.

All that aside, this was a fun little adventure, with the murder taking place on a baking competition show. Now I’m not sure if it’s just my 5th book and I’m getting goooood or what, but I fully knew who the murderer was very early on :)
