I really loved this book! It was super heartfelt, fun, & enjoyable to read. Not only was it a perfect lil holiday read, but it was actually so heartwarming and the character development was immaculate. Learning why and how everything went down between Eli and Whitney all those years ago makes perfect sense by the end. It literally made me tear up, smile like a manic as I was reading, and burst out laughing. I genuinely loved it so much and appreciated all of Peyton’s little moments of speech that he added into the plot (best part genuinely). Definitely a must read during the holidays!

The plot felt slow. However the book was cute and enjoyable. There were areas that felt extremely repetitive and made me want to yell at the main character to get the hell over herself, otherwise it’s a cute book.

It’s absolutely adorable x-mas novel. It was refreshing that the MCs weren’t teens and young adults and had real life experiences. It made them 100% relatable.
Whit & Eli are soulmates. I kind of wish they would have gotten to explore having children. Not all cancer survivors have infertility. Eli would be an amazing dad. 🥹

Also, love that Shaun made a cameo 😭😭 the whole time I was like NO WAY IS THAT SHAUN?! 😮‍💨
If you love second chance romances read this. You won’t regret it.

A really cute cheesy and romantic second chance lovestory, good for everyone just wanting to relax over the holidays. I don't like the gender-stereotypes and light (at least in comparison to other books) toxic behavior, so be aware of that. Also I really would've loved more diversity in the cast. However it still made me smile and it's possible to oversee since I didn't look for a life changing masterpiece. I did enjoy it after all and though it will never be the one book I love the most I had a good time reading it, I think it's important to think about what you expect from it and then decide if you want to read it.

Kate Stewart does it again, and reduces me to a boubbing mess. In the best way. 🤎🤎🤎

Second chance love for Whitney as she goes to the holiday vacation with her family at their cabin and her ex from 17 years ago shows up with her brother. He broke her heart, but he is trying to win her back now.
Bonus: super cute to see a character from the Ravenhood trilogy.
