A really cute cheesy and romantic second chance lovestory, good for everyone just wanting to relax over the holidays. I don't like the gender-stereotypes and light (at least in comparison to other books) toxic behavior, so be aware of that. Also I really would've loved more diversity in the cast. However it still made me smile and it's possible to oversee since I didn't look for a life changing masterpiece. I did enjoy it after all and though it will never be the one book I love the most I had a good time reading it, I think it's important to think about what you expect from it and then decide if you want to read it.
Graphic: Sexual content
Moderate: Cancer, Panic attacks/disorders, Grief, Car accident, and Death of parent
Minor: Chronic illness, Mental illness, and Sexism

This wasn’t a sappy holiday romance but it was a great holiday romance. If you like second chance romance, this was perfect. It isn’t my favorite genre, because I spent most of the book thinking that Eli didn’t deserve Whitney until I was proven wrong.
Graphic: Sexism and Sexual content
Moderate: Emotional abuse, Panic attacks/disorders, and Grief
Minor: Alcoholism, Cancer, Child death, Car accident, Death of parent, and Pregnancy
