Happy to have some final ties for some stories and some happy endings.

Okay, Victoria Aveyard, you got me. I love you again 😂 Even tho you killed the love of my life, Maven... I gotta admit this is pretty cool ❤️ And you actually having the last book, Broken Throne, signed like this? IS REALLY AWESOME 🔥🔥 I really thought I'm not gonna have any desire to buy your future books (Just cause you killed Maven, and yes I am still heartbroken for that) but I'm actually looking forward to read more series from you that has some sections like these too. 🤍✨

This series has been amazing and it was such an adventure. I get to live another life with great fantasy. Chef's kiss, indeed 🤌💋

I still feel bad for Maven. He is stuck. 😭 That one chapter near the end just broke me. I just can't- 😭 I legit wanna go inside the book and hug him. He's in a war with himself + Elara. I freaking hate Elara so much!!

Evangeline. Again. THE BEST CHARACTER IN THE WHOLE BOOK!! She gave me mixed emotions throughout the whole series. I was mad at her, pissed at her, annoyed at her, happy for her, trusting her, comfortable around her, and just everything. She gave a really big character development.

WOAH WAOH WOAH WOAH!! WAIT A MINUTE----!!
Mare and Cal became parents???? I didn't expect that! Their name is Shade and Corianne. Although, they didn't specify their abilities. They did with Clara though, she can also teleport like her dad ❤️ awww I wonder how Farley thinks about that 😂 she will never get used to the teleporting stuff, always gonna throw up 😂 that's funny to think about.

Hmm I'm contented with Julian and Sara. Not too happy cause the book doesn't really revolve around them, they're not the main characters. But they're one of the cutest couples in the series ❤️ although it took time, they're already in their late adulthood when they got married, I understand tho, their world isn't boring for them to get married 😂 wars? politics? nymph queens that's going to flood their country? Busy transitioning Norta from having a king to no-king country? Yep! I understand they didn't rush marriage.

Arghhhg can’t believe this series is actually done. It has been one hell of a journey. I loved the novellas towards the end of this book. They wrapped up some loose ends that happened at the end of War storm. But wow what a conclusion!! I loved it.

That first novella with the rivermen, silver princess and that dude from the disputed lands was so cool to read about. It gave us a new perspective on those areas mentioned during the series (disputed lands, priarie, tiraxes). It was nice to see how the scarlet guard spread to the Lakeland’s and how they were smuggling stuff from one region to another.

Iron heart: This novella was interesting to read about. It was nice to learn more about evaleigne and how she was adjusting to her new life. That whole battle within herself to let go of what she was raised to be and to give it all up for love

I will admit, I went in to this book expecting a lot of great things, being the last book in one of my favorite series. I was fairly disappointed. Most of the information in the purple pages was helpful, and I'm glad she included them, but they were very slow to get through. Except for the last one. I also don't feel it was necessary to include Steel Scars and Queen Song, seeing as they were already released. The third novella was not very thrilling, but I still enjoyed it. The fourth one I appreciated more, seeing an end to the characters and tying up some loose ends. And I loved the fifth one between Maven and Cal. It showed more of an insight into their relationship in their eyes. Overall, I just left this book wanting more.

I love this novella concept. Where its a couple of short stories from before, during, and after the events of the Red Queen series from different perspectives and different people.

I love how Cal and Mare were able to see each other again but I swear to God Cal needs a freaking backbone.
