This book was fast paced and intense. I loved how Katniss finally realised she was the face of the rebellion and had to act on that. I thought the concept that the arena was a clock was really cool and different. I liked the first half of the book about Katniss’ life in the district after becoming a Victor. Definitely recommend and I can’t wait to read the next book!

it does get a bit slow when in district 12, but everything else completely make up for it, and the development of katniss and peeta’s relationship is something to completely adore about this book. such a cool concept about the arena, and the ending will forever be one of the best plot twists.

A perfect example of what the second book in a trilogy should be. It takes everything that was incredible about the first book and literally rewrites the rules to make the stakes even higher and, in doing so, completely radicalizes readers into supporting the revolution in the final book. It’s absolutely genius on so many levels.

This is definitely my favorite book in the trilogy. I really enjoyed getting to meet new characters (and falling in love with Finnick Odair). The movie is also my favorite one from the movie series. I would obviously highly recommend these books.

It was a well written book, I liked it and thought it was a strong continuation of the Hunger Games series.
