Same formula and sometimes stories as the other books - leadership is hard and a balancing act. Need to be able to hold two thoughts simultaneously and go for what will serve the greater good / most people / strategic goal.

Pretty standard leadership book, but as a DBT therapist, I always love hearing someone talking about dialectics. The chapter on being a leader and a follower was absolutely relevant to me at this stage of life, so I also appreciated getting that message/reminder.

I found this book incredibly similar to their first work, Extreme Ownership which is both a good and bad thing. In many ways, it elaborates on some of the concepts that were established in their first book. However, none of these really stood out to me in the same way that they did in Extreme Ownership. Still a worthwhile read on leadership though.
