God that was…bad, sorry but this was so over the top it was ridiculous. Cheesier than a Christmas Hallmark movie. Here we go, count the eye roll:

So guy 1 has 2 twin girls that he’s going to adopt and drives 3h30 to a dog farm to get them a puppy for the PERFECT Christmas. The weather is not great but it makes sense to risk his life for a dog right?

Nope. Please, please edit. The number of words used incorrectly was a major distraction. Also, the insta whatever felt really forced and awkward.

Kellan & Eli

Rating: 3.5⭐

Kellan is so excited about getting the perfect gift for his foster twins that he leaves in bad weather to collect it. Shortly after his return journey starts his vehicle shuts down in a snowstorm. Handsome and grumpy Eli, the mechanic, comes to help Kellan and it was lust at first sight for these two. They had a hard time resisting each other but it didn't last long. They are adorable even when they are separated to think about their feelings.

This is a sweet holiday novella. It's instalove but what do you expect when you have a 100 pages and so much cuteness to wade through. If you're looking for a sweet holiday romance give this book a chance.

Oh, this book has so many of my pet peeves. They might be things that only bother New Yorkers, or just me. It is clear the Author does not know the area, the weather, or our sayings.  'Stay at mine' ' 'Father Christmas'

I would have liked to know a little more about the characters before they jumped into bed together, or a few hours before kids called someone new Daddy.

The writing was bad and calling a guy "master" after only knowing him for less than an hour is cringey as hell.

I decided I needed a quick read, insta-love book in between longer, angstier books. This seemed to fit the bill. It's even set at Christmas, my favorite season. It might be middle of summer where I'm at, but I'm always down for a Christmas novella. I wish this was one I could recommend.

Between the massive amounts of grammatical errors, the back and forth language (are they British or American? Who knows? One minute it's Santa, the next it's Father Christmas), and the fact that four year old children speak like grown adults, this book was just not good. I don't know a single four year old child who would say, "Why can't they just admit they needed to have an adult talk?" Um....just no.

I can suspend belief for the instant love between the characters because that's what I was looking for so I'm all for it, but instant family, immediate calling the other man daddy sends up all sorts of red flags. When dealing with children, you have to make sure you treat the story a bit differently.

All in all, this had good bones, but the execution was just off. I cannot recommend it.

Very nice wholesome sweet holiday short read. Kellan is on his way to get his adopted daughters a puppy before Christmas and gets stuck with Eli, a dog breeder. It's an insta-love, insta-lust wonderful read with great characters.

This is a novella that has instant attraction and insta-love from the start.  There is certainly no messing around. The minute Kellan and Eli meet they are attracted to each other and after a very close fitting sleigh ride they are unable to keep their emotions in check. The scenes are very hot and steamy and although insta-love is often hard for me to contemplate, this made a sweet story. It is a very short read so don't expect a deep story but do prepare for two MC's to fall in love after one night. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
