A huge number of photos included showing a diversity of landscapes. Very heavy focus on Mid-Atlantic US though so not entirely helpful for other areas. Also very focused on larger landscapes with less discussion on smaller yards and patches. Good book but won't apply to everyone's use case.

Beautiful pictures and just enough writing, but pictures focus exclusively on the Eastern US and on larger prope ties.

I loved this book! The “landscape and ecological functions of plants” by region at the end of the book is priceless.

Great book focused on ecological gardening and thinking about landscapes and ecology in layers. Learned a ton. Overall more content on woodland gardens than prairie ones.

I totally just skimmed this one, but it was delightful and it has a chart that shows the various uses for plants, such as if they are pollinator friendly, good for food, etc.
