This is one of those romances where one of the main characters is just not working for me. Kit was perfectly fine but Emily was just not it. Her boyfriend cheats on her, she goes and fucks someone else and then immediately takes his cheating ass back? Surprise, surprise it does not end well for her though because he cheats on her again after years of marriage and then destroys her company during the divorce. She spends the rest of this story okay with one night stands and grinding on the dance floor but freaks out if Kit tries to hold her hand. That was such a weirdly forced plot, with the sole intention to engineer a scene of them doing ‘intimacy-training’.
Overall this book either fell flat for me or irritated any enjoyment out of me.
