Overall I really enjoyed it. The concept is interesting and Kitty's POV is intriguing. It got a bit slow and repetitive about half way through but in the last 50-100 pages it speed up. In the end there was a great twist and then closure which I always enjoy.

Kitty is an upper middle-class Londoner with a lot of money, a lot of righteous anger, and a lot of free time.
So it's only natural that her favorite hobby is murder.

Good enough writing, but a grim story overall.
Overly privileged girl who can't see that she is so entitled, she even thinks other people's lives are hers.

I like the overall weight it gives to the ever current crisis of violence against women, but Kitty was far too irritating and problematic herself to be a vigilante I could get behind, even imaginarily.

To be honest I think I would have DNF'd it if I wasn't listening to the audiobook while doing a big load of housework. It felt more inconvenient to switch books than to just finish this one once I had started.

Was it funny at times? Yes. But was it also disturbing and weirdly normalising of violent and murderous behaviour based on personal assumptions about someone's character? Also yes.

Not recommended.

Check the TWs because this has A LOT
If I read the blurb for this at all on NetGalley, I'd forgotten it by the time I started this. What I got was a funny, feminist novel about a serial killer that was sometimes very heavy and emotional but was also such a thrill to read.
It’s been a while since I watched Made in Chelsea but that toxic dynamic in Kitty’s friendship was obvious early on and I thought the note from Katy at the end that it was inspired after watching it and thinking what would happen if one of them killed their cheating exes was perfect.
It was full of twists and drama and I found it very unpredictable. Perfect for people who loved Promising Young Woman or the Mindfuck Series.
