Aria, the female lead, has been abused by her mother and stepfather since she had an accident whilst doing gymnastics and was injured badly enough that she could not compete again. In desperation, she asks Knox, the male lead, for protection when he eats at the restaurant where she’s waitressing one day.
This novella is dual POV, well written, and genuinely darker on the page than most of the stories I read. It was a good story but right on the edge of what I’m comfortable with.

Classic story
This is a classic story of a monster finding his beauty. Aria needed someone to save her from her horrible life and when she runs into Knox she finds the courage to ask him for help. Having Aria not cower in front of him has him intrigued but when he witnesses her living hell he stops at nothing to protect her. And in protecting her he finds his heart belongs to her.

Aria needs help. Protection. She reaches out to the last person she thinks she should.. this had a pleasant surprise. Know was totally a book boyfriend.. Good read.. would recommend

I am loving this series, they are the perfect steamy summer reads! Short, fast paced and STEAMY! These brothers give a whole new definition of protective alpha!
We got to meet Knox for a minute in Their Ballerina, but it was definitely not enough time to get to know him. I was so excited to get to know him better in this book. He is the alpha that all other alphas need to measure up to.
I am pleasantly surprised at this series of short stories, they are perfect for the summer! You definitely need to read them all!

Poor aria her life was hell and not in the good sense.
