I only finished this book because I told myself I couldn't DNF yet another in March. It's pretty terrible guys. No characters development, the world seems very tiny and claustrophobic, juvenile interactions and dialogue between characters. Would not recommend nor read further into the series.

Well, this book didn't disappoint. I didn't think the spin-off series could keep getting better than the OG series, but it does and I loved the ending to it. The characters showed so much growth within each book and the relationships that were being created just made the series that much better for all the loose ends to be tied. I loved the relationship between the two main characters and how they overcome their differences.

4/5.
this was my first book by this author, and one of the few paranormal romances ive read but i really enjoyed this! i loved the main girls spirit and how she got her self out of a life she didnt want, and how her character development went through out this book! i also really liked the hero vampire in this book, he also had a great character development through out the story and of course my favourite thing about a romance when they help each other become better people! i thought he was selfless, and really loved Cadence ( could be spelled wrong, i listened to audio book lol) i also love the whole Hunter and vampire thing, and how this book was a great start to a series and cant wait to read on to the second book about nathan!

I feel like this was smooth writing. It easily flowed between the two MCs pov, in a way that added to the story rather than segregate and take away from it.

An enemy to lovers trope, who doesn’t love that?
