Almost as good as Percy series books, but not quite. Still very interesting, entertaining and enthralling. Love hear the old Greek myths. Ready to get my hands on book 2.

I can't wait to dive into this new series. I actually like this new trio & once again, the girl in the group is my favorite. (og trio is still my favorite) tbh it felt like they were all weird lesser than copies of the og trio, but they are starting to get a little nuance of their own at the 80% mark.

I like the concept of having different types of demigod based on the Greek or Roman versions of gods that had children. this is gonna be a fun ride & the ending made me excited to start book 2!

I had to wipe a tear away when I realised the chapters didn’t have titles anymore, but even without them I had a lot of fun reading this. It’s so interesting to learn more about this world and get to know more characters.

I was hesitant after reading the first book in Kane Chronicles, but this one is structured more like the Percy Jackson books and the characters are fleshed out in a way that sets them apart from the original crew which was pleasantly surprising

I read the Percy Jackson series as a pre-teen and actually loved the movies so
now I'm sitting here pondering why I waited a decade to pick up The Heroes of
Olympus series. My inner child is so happy and reading this has made me
severely nostalgic. Rick Riordan is an extremely talented creator. I love the way
he brings these ancient heroes and stories to life. Needless to say, I plan to
devour the rest of his myths and adventures.

don’t know why i waited so long to read this book, i loved it so much!! loved the new trio and love how there dynamic is similar but still different from the ogs. can’t wait to read the next one, very nervous cause i know a spoiler but i’ve made peace with it. need more jason and piper content and need leo to find his girl (or guy) so he doesn’t have to third wheel lol. love leo’s powers the most honestly and i really like that piper is subverting the expectations of what her godly parent is usually thought of :)))
