I LOVED this book. I could not put it down. I love me some damaged souls and Xavier and Vee are perfect. The story is great, the characters have huge amounts of chemistry. It is hot, sexy, and exactly what you want in a highschool romance. Makes you want to be a kid again (almost).

i had really high hopes for this book but it honestly sucked. the premise and the "anonymous pen pal" trope was the only reason why i picked it up. it was okay for like 30% but then it got so annoying. this felt like a wattpad fiction written by a 15-year old.

I admit, I was disappointed at first when I realized it’s a high school romance. I’m too old to enjoy high school romances, but I am glad I finished it after all. It was a sweet romance with a lot of heartbreak. Definitely check trigger warnings before picking this up though.
