I actually love this series. You just need a lot of patience if you read it and then you can fall in love with this amazing Univers with this great (mostly) characters♡

The world of House of Night is mystical and poetic and absolutely draws you in. You become attached with each and every character, marvel at their development, you're at the edge of your seat for every battle they face... I just can't say enough good things. And the protagonist, Zoe, is so real. She follows her morals as best she can, she fights her battles like a true respectable warrior, and even though she doesn't always have the answers often falls into turmoil not knowing how to best proceed... she still fights and doesn't lose sight of what's most important. She is a true leader. I give 4.5 stars (because damn she needs to pick a love interest and stick with 'em, come one! You're tugging at our heart).

Ok, so I read all of these books, and the 4 Novellas, in order. I know a lot of people don’t like them but I totally LOVE and adore these books. I love watching as the characters change and grow. I loved seeing how the world all connected with each other and what different angles they took with certain characters. Zoey seemed like a whiny teenager, but you have to remember that’s exactly what she was, a teenager! She had to endure hardships grown adults would have struggled with. Neferet was evil to the bone, even when she was human she was manipulative. Aphrodite was probably my favorite to read. She had spunk and never shied away from telling it how it was. She cracked me up! Grandma Redbird is the grandma everybody wishes they had. She’s so living and kind. Always ready with open arms and chocolate chip cookies. Always willing to give a shoulder and some words of wisdom, wanted or not. I loved so many of the characters. I think there were only a few I didn’t like, like Dallas. Truly I just loved these.

I love these books their not your typical vampire story they have a supernatural twist I love these books to the moon and back their such a fun read at any age. I love how they integrate cats into the story. I wish I could be one of the nerd heard. If you like vampire books with a twist you'll love these.

I’m not someone who like to shame people, especially women when it comes to relationships,

but good god this girl gets around like it’s no ones business. It angered me the entire series.

the writing quality seems like this series is for early teenagers but it contains a lot of sexual themes and boy hopping. Overall the series got repetitive and I think if it had better writing and cut out some of the guy drama it could be a good series.
