I didn’t really understand the point of this book, I feel you can get a better “moral” from a book written in a normal way. The way the sentences are written is just so simple I just didn’t enjoy it. It felt like it was trying so hard to be deep, reflective and relatable that I really couldn’t get it into it at all. If I’m being honest I didn’t really understand what the point of this guy going through all this stuff, like yeah he learnt stuff along the way but like it was all for treasure? Idk surely the treasure is what he learnt and not the gold at the end.

Boring and forgettable. Not meant to be a deep insightful read moreso fun. Waste of time personally.

Another classic that I meant to read forever — that I finally got around to reading. It’s a beautiful book and honestly totally worth all the hype. My boss encouraged me to read it for “perspective”. I mean I guess, I could have done without the religious references personally because that’s how I am.

The story itself tho was incredibly transformative and beautiful. I plan on reading it again in the future.

Quick read. Good book on how life isn’t a destination but the journey along the way.
