If you think book one was over the top book two is over the top, on crack.
I'm still gonna have to read three to see how this all shakes out, tho.

Warning: LOTS of triggers.

Too much

Wow. I love the story line but some things went a little too dark for me. I have to read the next book ASAP! I certainly hope the next book title holds true.

This book picks up where book one ends.

Man the hell that Abby goes through! She had to do whatever she can to survive and win. But damn I can’t felt for her! Not knowing who to trust both with the old and new elite.

There are a lot of triggers. This is dark, do be cautious when reading.

OMG! This series is crazy! I so didn’t see that coming... now I am sure I hate Charlie too! AH!!!!! This series is causing me to have panic attacks. I love Kai and Abby! That scene with Jackson, Kai, and Abby was smoking!

This story took such a left turn... forced breast implants, child sex slaves and incest, lord help...

The words that come to mind when I try to describe this book are Sick. Twisted. Evil. It pushed it too far for me and left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s ridiculous and discussing. Most of those words are describing her father and their elite club, but I was not impressed at all with most of the interaction between Kai and Abby. We saw more of the bullying and “punishment” and then the thing with Jackson was too far for me. Not to mention the rape of young girls and mutilation. The book is labeled as romance and it’s just plain erotica and psychotic. There’s almost zero love or affection in these books. And I’m getting quite tired of hearing Abby blab on about revenge and how she’s going to take them down. Ok... when is that going to happen. Cause so far we got a lot of whining and no helpful action. I wish I wouldn’t have started this series as it leaves nothing but a gross, depressing feeling behind.

Just when I think the Elite can’t get anymore worse, any more evil. The character development for all of the characters was fantastic. In book two, you get to see more of what makes each person tick as more secrets from the past are exposed. I really LOVED seeing a new side to Kai and seeing Abby take control was EPIC!!

Kai and Abby together was just EVERYTHING!! I loved all their moments together. From their fighting to the more romantic, steamy moments. Every single moment page they had them on it were my favorites.

There are moments where you think you know what’s going to happen, but then you don’t. This is the land of the shady and immoral and nothing is safe and or free from reach. I was on the edge of my seat reading this book. Book two’s ending left me reeling. I am DYING to know what happens next and how the author is going to get us to the HEA.

Shocking and exciting

As with the first book, Twisted Betrayal is just as shocking, exciting, and frustrating. I feel for the characters of this book even more because they are being played and they don’t know who is moving all the pieces.

This is a series that is so well thought out and intense that I need to pay attention or I’ll miss something small that is hugely important.

It was definitely a fantastic read and I am so excited for the final book in October!

Happy reading
