I am a big fan of Momma Cusses on TikTok and was thrilled when St. Martin's Publishing Group and NetGalley reached out to me with an e-ARC of her debut novel/field guide for “parenting that won’t make your kid need therapy”

I think Gwenna is a hilarious, kind and caring mother and gives wonderful and helpful tips to current and aspiring parents. If only my parents parented more like her! While she doesn’t claim to be an expert, I do think she has a lot of fabulous advice and that her book will help lots of parents raise a more emotionally intelligent generations.

Thanks for the e-ARC in an exchange for an honest review. I can guarantee I’ll use this in my own parenting journey!

I'm not a parent so I don't know what that's like. This was still interesting to me and I learned a lot. I have a better idea on how to avoid becoming my parents. Even if I don't currently have children, I think reading this can help with just being a better person.

Overall very informative and Gwenna makes it very entertaining so it was good. I am not normally a self help book person but this one was worth the read.

Very relatable. Repetitive on purpose. I loved all the life stories and punny anecdotes sprinkled throughout. Great book to help adjust your way of thinking and acting to help better understand your child and their actions.
