If this book had to be an emotion it would be sadness. Literal. PURE, sadness.
Throughout this book I was just so sad for Eden and so frustrated with her at the same time. It’s hard not to feel that way when she makes certain choices but at the same time you can’t be mad because you know where it’s coming from.
It’s written SO well and seeing how it developed and how everything eventually ended was satisfying. Nothing went at all how I guessed but it made reading the book all the more interesting.
I didn’t start crying until on of the last couple chapters. It was just so so so so sad. But also so so so so rewarding when you get to the end.
I think everyone should give this book a chance because it really does bring awareness to how victims feel and differ and how that can effect them for the rest of their lives.
A very good book but I don’t think I’ll get to the second book. I don’t think I’ll put myself through more of this emotional damage 😃
