this was SUCH A GOOD ENDING FOR THIS ERA!!! sanderson better have the next ones ready to go, because i can see the potential connections and i want them!! 

however,

wayne dying?? that was so freaking rude but also so good?! :'( i had tears in my eyes and it was just so good. i also love that he was mega rich and his attempts at bad investments, that turned out good?? iconic.

Me ha gustado mucho el libro. No me esperaba que acabase cómo acaba, pero me encaja perfectamente. Y me parece que el libro funciona muy bien por sí solo, incluso sin tener en cuenta el resto de la serie. 

Me ha dolido la muerte de Wayne más que cualquier otra muerte de ficción probablemente nunca. Y me ha costado un poco aceptarlo, pero los epílogos (por cierto, vaya montón que hay) ayudan bastante con ello al ver cómo afecta a los demás personajes. Y la conversación de Wayne con Armonía me ha encantado.

I have a complicated relationship with Sanderson, but this book was one I really enjoyed. 

This is the final book in the Wax and Wayne series, so it'll be difficult to explain much without too many spoilers, but it takes place six years after the end of Bands of Mourning and war is brewing once again. 

I loved the relationship dynamics of all kinds in this - Wax and Wayne probably being my favorite, but also loving Marasi and some new friends she makes in this book, Steris is a delight and I've loved seeing her character growth throughout this. Just fantastic in the way of relationships. 

I also really enjoyed seeing all of the interesting Cosmere things come up in this book. It'll be interesting to see how all of that comes into play later or otherwise. 

Also even though I saw the ending coming a mile away, I'm still sad by it, but it was satisfying regardless. 

All in all, a fantastic end to a good series.
