Once again I read a book without realizing it's part of a series until I was way into it. And of course, I didn't start with the first book of the series but oh well!

I really liked this book. Yes, it's like reading a fairy-tale with the right dose of anguish, trials, the evil grandmother, the broken hero, the damsel - not so in distress - the golden child... But you know what? It was great, just what the doctor ordered in these trying times. Reading this book is like being cocooned in a fluffy blanket by the fireside, safe without a care in the world. It helps you keep an optimistic eye on the world and believe in the redeeming strength of family and love.

So now, I'll have to read the other books in the series.

Did not enjoy characters.
Did not enjoy her portrayal of CP. Did author do any current research into it?!?

I liked this one okay, but it definitely was not a favorite of the series. It didn't carry the same Sullivan vibe as the first four books. Both Hannah and Owen were new to the series, and there was so much information dumping in the first several chapters. While Sully and Helen were present, I missed seeing more of the familiar characters and secondary storylines. Sweet Noah and Romeo were my favorites.

Another Robyn Carr win, like how do these keep getting better!! I call her writing smooth like butter as this new book is just so good! I love that we are back in Sullivan's Crossing with some of the normal characters! You will just fall in in love with Noah- he is just an amazing little boy and then also Hannah and Owen! This story might bring tears as I was so happy they got the Happy Ending! Some twists and turns that you think you know what is going to happen but never do. This is another great book that can be read standalone but just read the other books beforehand in the series and you will love the place and other side characters even more!
Can't wait to see what Carr does next!

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

Naja... ein bissle "too good to be true"...
