Honestly this book sucks. Theres no plot. It’s only 272 pages or so, so do with that what you will—not a total waste of time.

Really enjoyed this one, even if the ending was anticlimactic

I enjoy the "rich people behaving badly in the tropics" trope, and especially in this case, because Emma Rosenblum gives us a cast of characters of rich, obnoxious, tech startup people behaving badly: the leaders of the adtech startup Aurora have gathered in Miami for an executive retreat...and they all have secrets. I thought this novel was entertaining for that reason; I enjoy corporate catharsis in my books as a corporate girlie myself.

Although it was only just over 250 pages, the pacing was uneven (yes, that's a common complaint of mine but it's true). The book was a relatively slow burn, though delightfully gossipy, and then it ended rather abruptly — with a number of loose ends.

Overall, I liked this, but I didn't love it!
