I thought that this book was pretty good. It keeps you interested because of the pictures, yet also informs you on Elton John. I learned new things that I did not know, and found very interesting. I would also recommend this book to a lot of kids.

When I saw Elton John growing up, I saw an ordinary guy who dressed up like every day was Halloween. Behind those platform shoes and goofy glasses was a talented artist. He has become a legend, and found time to give back to others. My favorite song of his might be "Blue Eyes."

I didn't know a lot about Elton prior to 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' so it was fun to learn about him before that. This is a children's book so I don't get why people hate it so much. This isn't an in depth book about the life of Sir Elton. It's suppose to be an easy and light read for children to understand.
