The ending 🤯
Got slightly confused as I was not expecting part of it as I thought it was realistic fiction (is not completely).
Read it as I was going abroad for school, and I enjoyed it. Honestly, if you are going to college or uni I think this is a good book to read beforehand.

"'Okay, so the point is: Since we're in our own rom-com right now, we should have our own, stupid, unique always, so people can make tattoos about us!'
He laughs. 'What did you have in mind?'
'What about lamppost?' I propose. 'It's innocent, catchy.'
'Lamppost?'
'Yeah, as in, lamppost will be our always.'"
Things I Liked:
I love the author, Christine Riccio, as a person. I'm a fan of her BookTube.
I really like the ending chapters! The scene at the bookstore made me cry and I like that we got to see Shane focusing more on herself instead of her romantic life.
Shane is a relatable character for me because I also enjoy writing, reading, and am very awkward as I'm sure a lot of people that are also reading this book because of BookTube are.
The writing style/Shane's inner monologue is unique and distinct from books I've read before.
Things I Didn't Like:
Atticus and Leo seem to be nothing more than token gay characters that are only there to act as plot devices/to make Shane a better character.
I WAS SO BORED!!! I do not care about Rome. I do not care about Paris. I don't want to read 50 pages where nothing is happening except "cute" moments between Shane and Pilot. Give me more about Shane's internship! Let me read more about her Skype calls with her parents!
Other Thoughts:
Amy. Poor Amy. I'd like to read this story from her perspective.
