Schwab never seems to disappoint. This book was beautifully written and such an original story I couldn't put it down! I want to say so much about this book but I'm at a loss for words; everything about this book was phenomenal. I can't wait for more.

As I’m trying to write this, I can’t seem to find the right words to use. Everything feels so vague and simple compared to what I’m really feeling. This book made me feel all sorts of ways and I love it so much for that! If you haven’t read this, I highly recommend you do! Beautiful.

I enjoyed this book but that's all. I read it when I wasn't feeling like monsters and post apocalyptic worlds so clearly, since I'm a mood reader, it didn't work well. I'm more in the mood for historical fiction atm and wanted a lil break from the rather challenging vocab from the classics and I ended up picking it up. I really need to read some YA historical fiction tho 👌💕
The book was good, I mean it's V.E. Schwab so it was entertaining and really well written. I would still recommend this book if you're looking for monsters and some city fights~ this sort of thing.
