This was a really quick and easy audiobook. I think both of the narrators did an excellent job at making the characters feel alive and they definitely added a lot to the story. Another thing that I liked about this book was the romance and good lord was it steamy. The main reason why I didn’t give it a five star was because some parts of the writing style just wasn’t the best for me. This is my first hockey romance and I definitely want to read more and continue with the series.

I will expand on this review more later. This prequel was amazing and although it’s not a required read before Pucking Around, I feel like it added so much more swoon to the story for me. I would highly recommend the read before Pucking Around.
