An overly-simplistic take on homelessness at Christmas.

A lovely little Christmas time story, with lovely illustrations to match. Recommended for those who are looking for a quality, cozy picture book for reading to little people.

A nice holiday story in which a child shows a homeless man compassion without pity or judgment. It has lovely illustrations too.

I wish the story went a little deeper, but it's a beautiful book. The artwork is moving and tender, and the story is sweet.

I had this book sent to me by Kristin, who knows I love Kate DiCamillo and all things Christmas. I opened the box and read the book right there in my dorm. It was a really quick read, even for a children's book, but it had a great message and really beautiful illustrations.
