Sweet, heartfelt, and actually a good look at how to deal with the rough spots in life and learn to enjoy human connection.

I don't know if I have felt more seen in my exact feelings post pregnancy loss than I have felt connection in Chapter 14's coverage on Hilarie's miscarriage experiences.

I didn't expect that chapter in this book, but it really womped me -- hard and yet incredibly great. I really appreciate Hilarie's warts and all approach to writing about her life, relationship, feelings, and struggles. Not only does it make for incredible stories but it makes such a connection.

Read as audiobook from Hoopla. Amazingly narrated by the author.

I LOVED this book. I laughed, I cried, I related... I wish I had relationships like this. Such an uplifting read.

I’m not usually a big non-fiction fan, but everything about this kept my interest. The writing was eloquent and easy to follow. I smiled and laughed at the cute and cried at the sad. This was just so well done, and it makes me want to live out in the middle of nowhere even more than I did before!

Loved the stories but I had a hard time keeping track of the timeline at points.

I will be taking no criticism on this review. This is one of the best celebrity memoirs I’ve come across. I’ll admit it that I listened to it, but only because I saw that it was narrated by Hilarie Burton Morgan herself. Man I could listen to this woman talk for forever. There’s just something about her mild southern accent that satisfies my ears like no other. Highly recommend, I want what she has.

I’m obsessed with this book. It is the perfect summer read. It will make you smile, cry and daydream. Her stories draw you in and make you feel deeply for these people and the experiences she describes. We read this book out loud in bed before going to sleep — and it warms your heart.
