Listened the the audio book. A wonderful narrator!

A correction tailored to the crime. An admonishing hand of grace, of Shame, outstretched to those who might yet change for the better. A focus on rehabiliton within the Kerishdar society. I think that this book, as well as the Aphorisms of Kerishdar, are a clever way the introduce the two protagonists of Black Blossom: a fantasy of manners among aliens, as well as the fascinating setting.

An exploration of the crimes that disrupt a utopia, and their punishments. They're very focused on rehabilitation, which means some seem too light and some too heavy. Thought-provoking. And again, terrifying.
